For the third time in the past year, a "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star is reportedly not paying her taxes to the Internal Revenue Service.

Following in the footsteps of Kim Fields, who appeared for one season on “Real Housewives of Atlanta” this year, and “Real Housewives of Atlanta” veteran Sheree Whitfield, RHOA’s most prominent star NeNe Leakes owes more than $800,000 in back taxes to the IRS.

The Daily Mail reported that the IRS filed the tax lien last month for $824,366.01 in Gwinnett County federal court in Lawrenceville, Georgia. The taxes cover 2014, a busy year for the woman who likes to brag how wealthy she is. And given the tax total, she easily generated more than $1 million in income that year.

In 2014, she participated in ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars.” She was also making recurring appearances on Fox’s “Glee” and appeared full time in seasons six and seven of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.” She took part in Broadway’s “Cinderella.” And she introduced her clothing line on HSN that summer.

If she doesn’t pay up, the IRS has the option to seize her assets.

She purchased a $2.1 million home last year in Sugarloaf Country Club in an Atlanta suburb.

Since Leakes is considered self employed, she is responsible for paying her own taxes. Salaried employees typically have a chunk of their taxes taken out before they see any money in their bank accounts, making it more difficult to skirt payment.
