Could a simple hashtag signal the beginning of a reunion for super-group One Direction?
It's more like #WelcomeBackTo1DZayn was either started by trolls or is just the wishful thinking of fans across the world.
The Telegraph is reporting that #WelcomeBackTo1DZayn appeared overnight and it was trending by the time most of the U.S. was waking up.
But despite the trending tag, One Direction is scheduled to perform as a foursome for the first time later this week, so it's doubtful that Zayn Malik will be joining his former band any time soon.
Some fans were confused over the hashtag, while others were downright angry.
