First a new album, now a world tour.
Janet Jackson made the big announcement that she will be hitting the road this summer.
Her first stop is Vancouver on Aug. 31.
A complete list of dates, which include stops in Charlotte, Miami, Orlando and Atlanta, is available on www.janetjackson.com.
The tour will feature dance numbers and Jackson had searched for performers to join her on the stage.
She posted a behind-the-scenes video to her Twitter page.

Tickets for the 2015 tour go on sale to the general public on June 22.
