The late Teena Marie's next concert would've been New Year's Day in Atlanta.

Instead, the Fox Theatre will honor Marie's career with an impromptu tribute featuring previous headliners MAZE and Frankie Beverly, along with Johnny Gill and Stephanie Mills.

The self-proclaimed "Ivory Queen of Soul" -- whose hits included "Lovergirl" and "Fire and Desire," a red-hot duet with with mentor Rick James -- was found dead Sunday in her Pasadena home at the age of 54. Authorities said her death appeared to be of natural causes.

The tribute concert was just announced by the Fox via its Facebook page. Refunds will be available at the point of the purchase for those no longer interested in attending the New Year's concert.
