The long blond hair is still there, so are the tattoos. But what is missing on the latest version of "We're Not Gonna Take It"?
Most obviously, Dee Snider isn't wearing the caked-on, bright makeup he wore as frontman of Twisted Sister, which first released the hit song.
Also the heavy-metal guitars and other background music is gone from the newly released, updated version of the song.
Snider announced the new version of the song earlier this summer, but now the video has hit the web, Entertainment Weekly reported.

The video is not only entertainment for his fans, it's spreading a message on how musicians are being regulated by rules that were put on the books decades ago, before radio and on-demand internet streaming of music. Supporters of the movement say the old laws are cutting into the royalties of musicians and song writers whose creations can be heard on the radio.

The video was released months after Snider requested that Donald Trump stop using the 1984 version of the song at campaign rallies, despite originally giving the Republican nominee for president permission. Snider appeared on Trump's television show "Celebrity Apprentice."
