A fun, inexpensive way to enjoy summer is by heading outdoors to lounge in the grass and watch a movie.
Mall of Georgia’s eighth annual “Movies under the Stars” will return on May 28 with live music, food, games and popular movies such as “Minions,” “Grease” and “Stars Wars: The Force Awakens.”
The free series is set to take place on Saturdays at The Village Amphitheatre. During each event, local bands are scheduled to perform from 6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. before a film is displayed on a 35-foot screen around 9 p.m.
While enjoying the entertainment, participants can snack on Skip’s Hawaiian Shared Ice, popcorn and cotton candy. Games and bounce houses will also be available to attendees.
The series will take place nearly every Saturday through July 30. It will not occur on July 2, but there will be a 4th of July event.
