Enjoying a movie with loved ones has always been a way to bond and form connections over shared interests. In recent years, that concept has expanded as local communities in metro Atlanta have hosted outdoor movie series that allow residents to come together through pop culture.
Aside from offering a free movie, many of the series have games for kids as well as concessions, while also allowing attendees to bring their own food.
Many of the films that will be screened are family-friendly, with “Minions” and “Inside Out” making an appearance in the lineup for most of the outdoor movie series in metro Atlanta.
And while new blockbuster films such as “Star Wars: Episode VII — The Force Awakens” are also popular in outdoor movie lineups this year, classic films such as “Casablanca,” “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” and “Grease” will also be screened amongst local communities.
