A Woody Allen classic has been named the funniest screenplay by those who would know.
The Writers Guild of America said that "Annie Hall" is the funniest script of all time, beating out other classics from Monty Python and National Lampoon, Variety reported.
The 1977 classic beat out classics like "Some Like it Hot," "Airplane!," and "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" in the top 10.
Allen had six other scripts on the list of 101 funniest screenplays.
Harold Ramis had two in the top 10, with "Groundhog Day" and "Animal House" and "Ghostbusters and "Caddyshack," giving him a total of four.
Mel Brooks and Charlie Chaplain were also included in the list.
