McDonald's announced Wednesday that it will be expanding its popular all day breakfast menu.

The announcement comes nearly a year after the fast food giant announced the menu.

The Wall Street Journal reported the chain will add biscuits, McMuffins and other breakfast sandwiches to menus across the country in the fall.

The addition will remove the difference in all-day breakfast items available per region.

Currently, the southeast has biscuits and McGriddles as part of their menu and the rest of the country has McMuffins.

The new menu includes the egg McMuffin; sausage McMuffin with egg; sausage McMuffin; bacon egg  and cheese biscuit; sausage biscuit with egg; sausage biscuit; sausage, egg and cheese McGriddles; sausage McGriddles; bacon, egg and cheese McGriddles; hotcakes; hotcakes and sausage; fruit and maple oatmeal; fruit 'n yogurt parfait; sausage burrito and hash browns.

The new menu will launch in September.
