You're going to have the ABBA earworms again as the first look at "Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again" has been released.
And while fans of the original musical “Mamma Mia” knew that Cher was cast, many didn’t know how the music legend was going to fit into the story.
Cher is playing Sophie’s grandmother in the film sequel that looks back at how Meryl Streep’s character Donna met the three loves of her life and how she set up her hotel on a Greek island all while raising her daughter Sophie alone.
Filming recently wrapped as was announced by Lilly James, who plays the younger Donna, Entertainment Weekly reported.
The movie stars James, Cher, and all of the original cast members including Amanda Seyfried, Meryl Streep and Pierce Brosnan. It is slated to hit theaters on July 20.
