When actor, television host and former rapper Shad Moss, formerly known as Bow Wow, got caught up in a lie on his Instagram page, social media users took the opportunity to make jokes at his expense.
The trend started after a Twitter user called out Bow Wow on Monday for posting a photograph of a private jet on Instagram with a caption implying that he was taking the plane to New York. Except instead of flying a jet, a Snapchat photo showed evidence Bow Wow took a commercial flight.
Upon further investigation, another Twitter user appeared to have found the stock image that Bow Wow used for his Instagram photo, which apparently originates from a Fort Lauderdale VIP transportation company's website.
The good people of Twitter took things another step, creating the #BowWowChallenge, in which users post a photograph that makes them appear successful, followed by a second photograph that captures reality.
