Many country music fans wondered if Joey Feek would live to see Valentine’s Day.
Would her cancer hold off long enough to allow the country singer to spend the Feb. 14 holiday with her husband and their daughter, Indiana?
Joey+Rory posted an Instagram picture Sunday showing Joey receiving a smooch from Indiana, with the words "… happy Valentine's Day mama" above the photo.
And while Rory wrote in a blog post Friday that he might wish that they could have more extravagant plans for the holiday, it’s safe to assume that Joey has already received her greatest gift.
"Yes, I have a plan," Rory wrote in his blog. "But mine always gives way to His master plan."
