Idris Elba says he is not the next James Bond.

While at the premiere of his directorial debut, "Yardie," he succinctly shut down the repeated rumor that he is playing James Bond, Entertainment Weekly reported.

As Elba walked the red carpet with his fiancee, model Sabrina Dhowre, a reporter from ITV's "Good Morning Britain" asked him if he liked his martinis shaken or stirred.

“Stir fried, actually,” Elba said. “Thank you.”

“Are we looking at the next Bond?” the reporter asked.

“No,” Elba said.

The news comes after Daniel Craig and the producers of the 25th Bond film announced that Danny Boyle is no longer directing the film because of "creative differences."
