When a zoo visitor showed images of other gorillas to a Western Lowland gorilla at the Louisville Zoo, the animal seemed captivated.

Jelling was born at the Lincoln Park Zoo in 1997 and has been at the Louisville Zoo since 2002, according to the zoo website.
