At Sunday night's Golden Globes, actress Sandra Oh earned a place in entertainment history – three times over.

According to Vox, the "Killing Eve" star took home the Golden Globe for best actress in a TV drama, becoming "the first woman of Asian descent" to win the award since "Shogun" star Yoko Shimada in 1980. In addition, Oh, who won a Golden Globe for best supporting actress in 2006, became "the first woman of Asian descent to win multiple Golden Globes," Vox reported.

Oh also "was the first person of Asian descent to host" the awards show, Vox reported.

As she accepted her latest award, Oh thanked her parents in English and Korean.

"Mostly, there are two people here tonight that I am so grateful that they're here with me. I'd like to thank my mother and my father," she said, adding in Korean, "Mom and Dad, I love you."
