We started off the Best of Atlanta polls last year in search of your favorite macaroni and cheese. Community Q in Decatur was the clear winner for the second time in a row, but will they reign supreme for a third year?

Turns out there’s a new cheesy champion in town.

Parkside District in Lawrenceville moved into the coveted No. 1 spot with their elbow macaroni smothered in a four cheese blend and panko gratin. This bowl of mac 'n' cheese is travel-worthy.

They might have come in second place this year, but Community Q in Decatur is still in it to win it. It's clear that Atlantans are passionate about this three-cheese dish, as it's been melting the hearts of diners for years. If you haven't tried Community Q's take on this Atlanta favorite, go ahead and see what all of the fuss is about. You'll be glad you did.

It was a tight race for third place, so we are giving it to Heirloom Market in Cobb County, and Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q in Candler Park. No matter where you live, there's no excuse to not be chowing down on the best of the best.

Being a Southern city, we know a thing or two about macaroni and cheese. Whether you like it old school or prefer a creative spin, you can easily find this dish around town.
