Best ice cream/frozen treat in Atlanta | Best of Atlanta

Now that summer is here in full blast, we bet you have a few secret go-to frozen treats to help beat the heat. This week's Best of Atlanta poll is inspired by all things cool and tasty. Do you prefer a creamy ice cream, decadent sundae, tangy sorbet or creative popsicle? Lucky for you, all of these can be found around Atlanta.

With 53% of the votes, it's fair to say that Butter & Cream Ice Cream in Decatur has Atlanta's favorite frozen treats and ice cream in town. As a small batch ice cream purveyor, they feature homemade ice cream, sorbet and sweet treats all made from scratch with the freshest of ingredients. Is your mouth watering yet? It should be.

In a strong second place is Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream, which took Atlanta by the taste buds and never looked back. Jeni's is just as much about flavor as community and cultivating happiness amongst staff and customers. You can enjoy your flavorful ice cream knowing that it was made with 100% love.

Third place doesn't mean any less delicious. The innovative 8 Fahrenheit Ice Cream is an Atlanta favorite for good reason, freezing up unique Thai-inspired ice creams that you won't soon forget.

If you are a true ice cream lover, then you probably just can't get enough. Our other official nominees are also obsess-worthy: Sarah Jean's Ice Cream (Cobb), Queen of Cream (Intown), Four Fat Cows (North Fulton) and King of Pops (Intown).
