Are you looking to get married at a country concert or relive the magic of the 1996 Olympics this weekend?

You’re in luck!

There's always plenty to do in Atlanta, but this weekend is sure to be a great one. From Dierks Bentley and Shawn Mendes concerts to an event commemorating the 20th anniversary of the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta, there are plenty of reasons to go out and be social this weekend, no matter what your interests are.

Dierks Bentley, Randy Houser, Cam & Tucker Beathard

Country fans should head to Lakewood Amphitheatre for an energetic show featuring Dierks Bentley, Randy Houser, and Cam & Tucker Beathard. I attended a Dierks Bentley concert last year and a woman dressed as a flight attendant vomited on the stage during Bentley’s performance of his hit single “Drunk on a Plane.” You never know what will happen on the “Somewhere on a Beach” tour.

If You Go: 7 p.m. July 15. $32.25-$57. Lakewood Amphitheatre, 2002 Lakewood Ave., Atlanta. Lakewoodamphitheater.com.

Atlanta Field Day

Some of us dreaded Field Day as children, but for people who are more coordinated and love the outdoors, Atlanta Field Day is something you should partake in this month. See if you have what it takes to win tug-of-war or a five-legged race as an adult on July 16 at Historic Fourth War Park. Sign up as an individual or gather seven of your most competitive friends to put together a team. Be sure to register at atlfieldday.com by July 15. Admission is $60 per person.

Relive the 1996 Olympics

Head to Centennial Olympic Park on July 16 for a free event in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the 1996 Centennial Olympic Games. Athletes, volunteers, organizers and fans will relive their favorite moments from the games, and musicians will perform at this event.

Gates open at 5 p.m.

If You Go: 5 p.m. July 16. Free. Centennial Olympic Park, 265 Park Ave., Atlanta CentennialPark.com.

Shawn Mendes

Pop singer Shawn Mendes will play Fox Theatre this month. Known for his breakout hit “Stitches,” the former Vine star has garnered quite the following amongst young music fans. Mendes recently released a new single, “Treat You Better,” the lead offering from his upcoming sophomore album.

If You Go: 7:30 p.m. July 17. $36.50. Fox Theatre, 660 Peachtree St., Atlanta.Foxtheatre.org.

“Da Kink in My Hair”

Trey Anthony’s “Da Kink in my Hair” takes viewers into the salon of a West Indian hairstylist. The musical tells the stories of her clients as they sit in her chair in preparation for special occasions and as a regular routine. Learn why many women joke that their hairstylist is also their therapist in this production.

The musical opens at Horizon Theatre Company this weekend.

If You Go: various times. July 15-August 28. $25-$30. Horizon Theatre Company, 1083 Austin Ave.
