Sean 'Diddy' Combs wants you to stop using the term, "child prostitute."

And he tweeted a Change.org petition to get that across.

The petition was authored by Withelma "T" Ortiz Walker Pettigrew, a self-described survivor of forced underage prostitution.

The petition asks the Associated Press to stop using the term in stories it writes and distributes. The AP style manual lists "child prostitute" and "child prostitution" as acceptable use for journalists. The manual is a guide journalists worldwide follow to help them adhere to a codified manner of writing and editing.

Pettigrew says she was sexually exploited between the ages of 10 and 17.

"I was not a child prostitute or child sex worker. I was a victim and survivor of child rape. And so are the other kids out there now who are being bought and sold for sex. They are victims and survivors of child rape."

P Diddy was named by Forbes as the highest earning rap artist for 2015, ahead of Jay Z and Drake, who came in at numbers 2 and 3 respectively.
