It's probably not a good idea to make obscene gestures in the front row of a Luke Bryan concert.

CMT reported that multiple fan-recorded videos show the country singer pausing mid-song to strike a man in the face during his Wednesday performance at Charlie Daniels' Volunteer Jam at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.

Fans took notice since the gesture seemed out of the norm for the singer.

One fan-recorded video shows the man flipping the bird at Bryan.

"Come on," Bryan says to the man in the audience while the band plays his song, "Move."

The man moves forward and the singer appears to strike him in the head with his microphone. Another video, posted by Nash Country Daily, appears to show Bryan grab one of the man's wrists before hitting him.

Bryan's publicist issued a statement about the incident:

It was insulting not only to him, but more importantly to the men, women and families sitting around him who were there to support and celebrate Charlie Daniels and the efforts of raising money for the military veterans --  some of who were in the audience. The concert security personnel saw the man's disruptive actions of the event and he was escorted out.
