Grammy-winning trumpeter Chris Botti offered a beautiful rendition of the “Star Spangled Banner” to kick off “Monday Night Football” at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

The performance was so good that it moved at least one NFL player to tears.

Cameras caught Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Reggie Wayne shedding tears as Botti performed.

According to CNN and ESPN, when asked about the moment Wayne said, "It's an emotional game, man, and sometimes it comes out."

The Colts beat the Giants by a score of 40-24.

There is already talk about Botti’s rendition being one of the top versions ever performed.
