The court-appointed conservator for the late Bobbi Kristina Brown initially filed suit on her behalf against her onetime companion Nick Gordon in June, alleging financial impropriety and physical harm.
A Friday amendment to the suit, filed in Fulton County Superior Court, levels damning new allegations against Gordon. He has not been charged criminally.
The suit claims that Brown, who often referred to Nick as her “husband,” had a tempestuous argument with him on Jan. 31 “after (Gordon) returned from being out all night on a cocaine and drinking binge.”
The suit claims he “gave Bobbi Kristina a toxic cocktail rendering her unconscious and then put her face-down in a tub of cold water causing her to suffer brain damage. (Gordon) then came out of the master bedroom wearing a different set of clothing than he was in prior to his argument with Bobbi Kristina. Afterward he got in bed, and laid his head on female guest’s ankle and stated, ‘Now I want a pretty little white girl like you.’”
The suit goes on to claim that about 15 minutes after this allegedly happened, Gordon let the water out of the tub, and tried reviving Bobbi Kristina, saying “wake up” as he performed CPR.
The lawsuit does not specify what was in the so-called “toxic cocktail” or identify the female guest or the sources of information about what allegedly happened. The suit goes on to restate past claims that Gordon took money from Brown’s account while she was incapacitated, without authorization.
The suit claims that “(Gordon)’s violent attack on Bobbi Kristina and associated reckless and toxic cocktail caused her to sustain a profound brain injury, which ultimately caused her death.”
Gordon’s lawyers have declined comment and his mother issued a recent statement saying he was devastated by Brown’s death at age 22 on July 26, following months of hospitalization. An initial autopsy showed no obvious cause of death. Each of their Twitter accounts is full of photos of the couple in loving poses.
About a month before the Jan. 31 medical emergency that sent her to the hospital, Brown posted a message to Gordon: “Baby you’re my everything, you are my life. Every and anything, you are all of that.”
WXIA first posted the amendment on its site (www.11alive.com).
