Rapper and mogul Dr. Dre celebrated his daughter’s acceptance into the University of Southern California, but it was short-lived on social media.

Fox News reported that Dre announced the news about his 18-year-old daughter, Truly Young, in an Instagram post, but it was deleted about a day after.

"My daughter got accepted into USC all on her own," he captioned the Saturday Instagram post. "No jail time!!!"

The post showed Dre posing with his daughter, who was holding a certificate of acceptance into USC.

Dre's post was in reference to the college admissions cheating scandal in which actresses Felicity Huffman and Lori Loughlin face charges as part of a large-scale college admissions bribery scheme. The actors are among 50 people facing charges. Loughlin and her husband, fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli, are accused of paying $500,000 to have their daughters designated as recruits for USC's crew team.

In 2013, the record producer and former NWA member, along with producer Jimmy Iovine, gave $70 million to USC to create an academy.

The gift was to the USC Jimmy Iovine and Andre Young Academy for Arts, Technology and the Business of Innovation, which offers minors, a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science degrees.
