Boy wants to get his chicken hug, but chicken needs to make sure it's really him

A little boy and his pet chicken have gone viral for one of the simplest way of showing love - a hug.

But this one is more than a little different.

Mason got a haircut, but when he was done, he had to go out and see his chicken "Love Bird."  As usual, "Love Bird ran up for his hug, but at the last moment, put the brakes on.

The chicken walked around, examining, even pecking Mason, to make sure it was really him.

Once she's sure, the chicken leans in for the love, while the roosters aren't too happy.
