This weekend is the perfect time to explore a new exhibit at one of Atlanta's popular museums. If that's not your idea of fun, you can also attend a low country boil.

If you're sitting at your desk watching the clock for the end of your work week, there is one thing you can do to hold you over. Head to Midtown's Woodruff Arts Center where food trucks will gather every Friday from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Callaway Plaza on the corner of Peachtree & 15th. Three to six food trucks will gather in this area each week until October.
Up to eight food trucks will also gather at the Broad Street Plaza of Five Points MARTA station from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Fridays. Special performances may also occur at this location each week.
Head back to work satisfied and ready to concur the rest of the work day after visiting one of these locations!
“On You: Wearing Technology”
Most of us wear some form of technology on a daily basis. The Museum of Design Atlanta is looking into how these devices have become more popular and practical lately with their exhibit “On You: Wearing Technology.” Sponsored by Georgia Tech Wearable Computing Center, the exhibit will look at the people who utilize this technology as well as their creators.
The exhibit opened June 26 and will be open through October 2.
General admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children, ages 6-17.
Gatheround: Stories of Atlanta
Visit the Atlanta Histroy Center this weekend to view their newest exhibit.
“Gatheround: Stories of Atlanta” is an exhibit that features live theater performances and interactive activities in an effort to teach participants about the history of the city.
The exhibit is a permanent display, so if you can’t go to the museum this weekend, don’t worry. You’ll still be able to see the exhibit.

Southern Beer Tours: Atlanta
Join the Atlanta Brewery Tour and visit Sweetwater, Red Brick Brewing Company and Monday Night Brewing this Saturday. The private tasting tours will allow attendees to have 3 to 5 pints at each location. The $65 cost also includes a small snack, water and more.
The tour leaves from Lindbergh Taco Mac.
Urban Tree Low Country Boil
Attend the Urban Tree Low Country Boil at Urban Tree Cidery and be treated to a pound of gulf shrimp, mussels, homemade sausage, corn, onions and potatoes.
Bone Lick BBQ’s Chef Mike LaSage will be responsible for the food. Folk artist Jeremy Wayne Dean will be responsible for entertaining dinners with live music.
