On Thursday morning, the world was rocked when TMZ began to report that someone had died at Prince’s estate.
Unfortunately, that someone turned out to be the pop icon himself. His publicist confirmed his death early Thursday afternoon. He was just 57.
He was known for countless performances and appearances; and made an indelible mark on music in so many ways, but with the Coachella music festival currently in full swing, what better performance to remember than his cover of Radiohead’s “Creep” at Coachella 2008.
His haunting vocals are a perfect tribute to the song, but what makes this cover so uniquely Prince is his epic guitar solo at the end.
