Zirtual, an online service that matches entrepreneurs and other professionals with virtual executive assistants, said it is seeking to hire 300 people over the next year and is targeting Atlanta for new employees.

The Las Vegas-based company’s online assistants are provided on a monthly bases to perform a range of tasks, including responding to emails, scheduling, event coordination and online research.

While Zitual’s contracts with clients are monthly, its assistants are college-educated employees who receive company benefits. The company said 89 percent of its employees are women, and the majority work from their home.

“We are committed to hiring only people who are absolutely passionate about customer service,” founder and Chief Executive Officer Maren Kate Donovan said in a statement. After a nine-step interview process, the company said Donovan personally vets and approves candidates.
