It's official: Southern Biscuits and Gravy is the hands down winner of Lay's annual 'Do Us a Flavor' contest.
The savory creation was voted the top flavor by millions of consumers, beating out competitors Kettle Cooked Greektown Gyro, New York Reuben, and Wavy West Coast Truffle Fries to take home the title.

Top chip creator, Hailey Green of Noblesville, Indiana, will take home $1 million or one percent of her flavor's net sales through July 15, 2016, depending which is higher reports Yahoo! Food.
Green says her grandmother's biscuits and gravy inspired her contest entry.
