Atlanta-based DS Waters of America Inc., which provides bottled drinking water, brewed beverages and water filtration systems, said it is acquiring Pine Mountain Springs, the company’s second acquisition in two months.

Newark, Del.-based Pine Mountain Springs is a provider of coffee, teas and water filtration systems serving Delaware, Maryland and Pennsylvania.

DS Service, which did not disclose the acquisition price, said the deal will improve its market position in the three states.

Last month, DS Waters announced it was acquiring the office coffee and water filtration service divisions of Everett, Wash.-based Cascade Coffee Inc, which produces the Compass Creek coffee brand and mainly serves the Pacific Northwest.

In July, DS Waters announced it would be acquired by an affiliate of Crestview Partners, a New York private equity firm. Financial terms of that deal also were not disclosed, but DS Waters said its headquarters would remain in Atlanta.

DS Waters’ bottled water brands include Belmont Springs, Crystal Springs, Deep Rock, and Sierra Springs. Its brewed coffees and teas are sold under such brands as Standard and Javarama.
