High-end hotel SLS is coming to Midtown Atlanta in early 2019.

Los Angeles-based sbe, owner of the brand, is partnering with Atlanta developer Trillist Companies to build a 42-story, 213-room hotel with 56 condominiums on Crescent Avenue. Condos will range in size from 1,600- to 4,000 square feet.

The SLS Atlanta will be the latest in a growing number of projects by sbe, which has 14 properties in its pipeline. The SLS Atlanta will break ground in 2017.

“This project will be the achievement of a shared vision to create a personal and intimate experience that incorporates leading edge design with outstanding services that reflect the best of the cultural life of Atlanta,” said Scott L. Leventhal, co-founder, president and CEO of Trillist.

The hotel will be constructed near the popular and busy 14th and Peachtree streets intersection in the heart of Midtown and just a short walk to Piedmont Park. The building will replace an apartment building at the corner of 13th Street and Crescent Avenue.
