As the economy continues to improve and consumers increase purchasing, complaints about products and services also appear to be on the rise. Consumer Federation of America and North American Consumer Protection Investigators have compiled a list of the top complaints of 2013 and auto sales/leasing led the list. Misrepresentations in advertising or sales of new and used cars, lemons, faulty repairs, leasing and towing disputes were the top complaints in this category.
