Over 2,000 people came to apply for the 600 positions at Six Flags Over Georgia on Saturday. Hundreds of people were turned away and encouraged to apply on another day.

More than 2,000 people came to apply for the 600 positions at Six Flags over Georgia on Saturday.

Hundreds of people were turned away and encouraged to apply on another day.

Reshelia Cook, stands in line. She was hoping to get a full time job in security because that is what she was doing before she lost her job. She also received the number 600, the last number handed out.

Applicants ranged from teenagers to adults over 35 years. They were hiring people in all departments from food service to security.
