The Economist., that in-depth magazine on business and politics from across the pond, rated the best MBA programs worldwide recently, and two Georgia schools broke the top 100: Emory University’s Goizueta Business School was No. 28 and the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business was No. 90.

Dartmouth College’s Tuck School of Business was No. 1 in the ranking.

Seven of the top 10 business schools esteemed by The Economist are in the United States, plus one each for Canada, Switzerland and Spain.

Terry College, which has been included all nine times the magazine has rated full-time MBA programs, was thrilled to be included. “There are about 16,000 business schools in the world," said Terry College’s Dean Robert T. Sumichrast. "To be considered among the top 100 colleges of business in the world is significant recognition,”
