The Sweet Leaf Tea Company announced a nationwide recall of 16-ounce glass bottles because of possible glass fragments that may have been introduced during the filling process.

The recall was announced after the company received four complaints of glass in the product, according to a U.S. Food and Drug Administration news release.  The release said no injuries were reported.

The 16-ounce bottles in question were distributed between Feb. 27, 2015, and Dec. 6, 2015.

Stores were directed to remove the product from shelves.

“(C)ontact the Sweet Leaf toll-free number 1-877-832-5323 Monday through Friday 8am - 8pm EST for replacement product, or return the product to the store of purchase for a refund,” the release said.
