Name: Dawn B. Adams, MSN, RN, CCRN

Age: 43

Occupation: Director of Medical Staff Quality, Atlanta Medical Center

What I'm wearing: "A silver, sequined strapless gown (right) with a gray tulle overlaying satin animal print with a mermaid hem. The accessories include black satin gloves, a silver glitter clutch purse and ice earrings, necklace and bracelet."

Signature style: "Classic business suit. I try to make it my own by adding bright colors and print shirts."

Best finds: "Designer purses at discount stores or outlet malls. I bought my first Coach bag at a salvage store and it was brand new."

Fashion weakness:"Shoes. I can find a reason to buy a pair of shoes every day. Shoes complete the outfit and are perfect when you can wear them all day and they don't hurt your feet."

Favorite stores: "Ross, T.J. Maxx and Belk. At Belk, they have these tremendous markdowns and when you get to the register, the cashier will say you have an extra 10 percent off on this."

Fashion inspiration: "My mother and sister. My mother knows all the rules of fashion and my sister has great style. I also like to watch what the first lady, Michelle Obama, is wearing."

Pet peeve: "Open toe shoes or sandals with unmanicured feet."

Best fashion compliment: "I was once told by a co-worker that I reminded them of Michelle Obama. She is so beautiful and I felt wonderful all day after that."
