Developers of the Avalon community on Monday announced another wave of merchants at the mixed-use district in Alpharetta.

Headlining the list is the opening of Crate & Barrel, which is relocating from a spot near North Point Mall and will debut its new store next month. Other new additions slated to open in the first half of 2015 include: modern Italian restaurant Colletta, exhale yoga studio and apparel companies Johnny Was and Boston Proper.

Retailer Anthropologie and the hotly anticipated outside the Perimeter location of Antico Pizza recently opened along with Caffe Gio, according to a news release from developer North American Properties.

Avalon opened in October at Ga. 400 and Old Milton Parkway. It includes high-end apartments, single-family homes, retailers, restaurants and office space. The second phase of the project is expected to open in 2016, and include more residences, retail, eateries, offices and a hotel and conference center. An office tower also is planned.
