Sage Woodfire Tavern, a locally owned fine-dining business is set to open a new restaurant in Buckhead mid next month, contributing 300 new jobs to the Atlanta area.

Restaurant owner James Liakakos says the grand opening of the two-storey 11,500 square foot restaurant with a seating capacity of 300 follows last year’s opening of another 7,800 square foot location in Marietta.

Liakakos said the two new restaurants which cost $4 million will be an addition to two other existing locations that have been in operation for 15 years.

“For us to be able to provide 300 more jobs for hardworking Atlantans, in addition to 350 people we employ in our Perimeter and Alpharetta restaurants, is something I am not only proud of, but excited about,” the restauranteur said.

The Buckhead location will feature a dining area, bar area, patio seating and private dining rooms on the second floor.

Management is conducting inteviews daily through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. to fill the 300 open spots at the Buckhead and Marietta locations. Interviews will be conducted at the Sage Buckhead location at 3379 Peachtree Road NE.
