The first day of spring will be extra delightful for those with a sweet tooth.

Rita's Italian Ice, the frozen treat chain, will give away free Italian ices to customers between 12 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Monday, during its 25th annual First Day of Spring celebration.

Customers can refer to Rita's website to find participating locations.

Those that visit Rita's on the first day of spring are encouraged to share their experiences on their social media pages with photos and the hashtag #ritasfirstdayofspring for a chance to win free ices for a year.
