Rick Case Automotive Group, which has five dealerships in metro Atlanta, is seeking to hire sales associates at a job fair on Tuesday.

The career fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Rick Case Hyundai at 3180 Satellite Boulevard in Duluth.

The automotive group has 15 dealerships in Atlanta, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Cleveland, Ohio. Locally, the company has Hyundai dealerships in Roswell and Duluth, and Audi, Mazda and Kia dealerships in Duluth.

The company said sales positions are available at all of the dealerships, and there will be opportunities to move into management.

Rick Case, however, isn’t the only dealership hiring. A surge in auto manufacturing and vehicle sales since the economic recovery got under way has prompted other dealerships to increase hiring.

Carmax, for example, recently made Fortune magazine's list of top 24 companies that are hiring. Carmax is seeking to fill more than 1,300 positions across the country, including sales consultants, business office associates, buyers in training, technicians, detailers and painters.

U.S. vehicle sales were up 8 percent last year from 2012, according to data from AutoData Corp. January sales will be reported next week.
