The most expensive homes in Alpharetta come with upscale amenities, including proximity to the up-and-coming Avalon shopping district and its trendy boutiques and foodie-friendly eateries.

According to Zillow, a real-estate website, the priciest homes near Avalon range from the upper $900,000s to $3.6 million.

Surrounded by bucolic woodlands, Alpharetta neighborhoods within five miles of Avalon provide countryside dwellings with access to urban-style living.
