The Home Affordable Refinance Program, a government sponsored effort to help homeowners refinance their homes, will host a meeting at Ebenezer Baptist Church Thursday, Aug. 14, at 11 a.m.

The church is at 407 Auburn Ave. in Atlanta.

It is one of four stops on the current tour, hosted by the Federal Housing and Finance Agency. Local experts along with lenders will be present to those who are eligible get the information they need to refinance into a better mortgage.
