The Duluth technology company NCR has acquired three businesses in the hospitality industry that the company said will help it grow in Brazil.

POS Integrated Solutions, a reseller of the NCR's Aloha technology; Wyse Sistemas de Informática Ltda., a hospitality software company; and Radiant Distribution Solution, which is a hardware distribution company, were all acquired. NCR did not disclose the terms of the deals.

The company said Brazil's rapidly growing middles class will mean growth in hospitality businesses, and the 2014 World Cup and 2016 Olympics in Brazil will necessitate improvements in checkout technology as more people visit the country.

NCR has made other moves in Brazil, including an alliance with a bank to add as many as 30,000 ATMs there, and the expansion of its point-of-sale software.
