Dropping bond yields are pushing mortgage interest rates to an all-time low, according to lending consolidator Freddie Mac.

Results from its Primary Mortgage Market Survey released Thursday show fixed mortgage rates for 30-year loans dropped from last week's 3.78 percent to 3.75 percent. That sets a new all-time record low for the fifth consecutive week, the agency said. The 15-year fixed interest rate was 2.97 percent.
