Morris, Manning & Martin adds real estate partner

Atlanta law firm Morris, Manning & Martin named a new partner in its real estate and real estate capital markets practice groups. The partner, Homer Lee Walker, comes from rival firm, Alston & Bird, focuses on the development and operational phases of residential and commercial projects. Walker's clients include Atlanta-based Regent Partners  -- which developed the 50-story sovereign Building -- and a number of national developers and real estate investment trusts. He comes to Morris, Manning as the firm looked to strengthen and expand the expertise of its 40-lawyer real estate practice.
