Atlanta-based Metrotainment Cafes announced this week plans to open two new restaurants: a Hudson Grille in Midtown and Sugar Shack, a dessert, sandwich and coffee shop, in Brookhaven.

The Hudson Grille is scheduled to open Saturday at 942 Peachtree Street, Metrotainment said. It’s the fourth location for Hudson Grille, which attracts a strong sports-viewing crowd.

The Midtown location will feature more than 60 high-definition large-screen TV’s, a state-of-the-art sound system, 50 draft beers and an affordable, innovative menu, the company said in a release.

Sugar Shack is expected open in early December in Brookhaven Station at 4046 Peachtree. In addition to coffee and sandwiches, it will feature desserts from the Metrotainment Bakery.

Metrotainment Cafes, started in 1991, also includes Einstein’s, Cowtippers, Joe’s on Juniper, Joe’s on Sullivan, Metrotainment Bakery and Garrison’s Broiler & Tap.
