Six months after naming a new chief executive officer, Atlanta-based MDnetSolutions, a provider patient management software to the health care industry, said company founder Rich Rosenzweig is retiring from the company.

Rosenzweig, who had served as CEO until the hiring of Alan Creighton to the role in June, will remain as a consultant for the next 12 months, the company said. Rosensweig has also served as president.

“Our employees and customers are very important to me and I want you to know that I am a better person today, having met you along the way,” Rosenzweig, who founded his company in 2004, in a statement.

In addition to patient management software, MdnetSolutions is a provider of digital marketing and call center services to the health care industry.
