After winning new customers like Lilly Pulitzer and PriceSmart, Atlanta-based global supply chain software firm Manhattan Associates reported a $17.4 million profit for the second quarter. That’s up from $14.2 million a year ago.

The company said its revenue totalled $102.5 million in the quarter, up from $93.6 million in the same period of 2012.

Manhattan Associates chief executive Eddie Capel said that “while it remains somewhat difficult to predict the effect of the tepid global economy, we are optimistic about our outlook for the balance of 2013 and beyond,” according to a written statement.
