Georgia Cancer Specialists, a private cancer practice, named J. Bancroft Lesesne president and interim CEO after Bruce A. Feinberg resigned from the jobs. He will be in charge until a permanent successor to Feinberg is named.

Feinberg is leaving the practice Sept. 30 to take a position at Cardinal Health Inc.

Feinberg helped establish Georgia Cancer Specialists, the largest and first integrated oncologic specialty practice in the Southeast when he merged Cancer Specialists of Georgia with Georgia Oncology Hematology Clinic in 1995.

He will head the Healthcare Solutions division of Cardinal.
