Kurt Heinrich has been an entrepreneur since he was 13. Now 22, the owner of eCommHub offers his tips for success:

  • Focus on growing the business and sales before seeking investors.
  • Keep in mind: It's not clear sailing after fund raising.
  • Your investors are part of a long-term relationship. Think about that before you ruffle feathers when trying to squeeze a deal out of them.
  • When picking core employees, look particularly for those who have integrity and who will work through the tough times.
