Invesco Mortgage Capital, an Atlanta-based real estate investment trust, said Chief Financial Officer Donald Ramon will resign next month.

Invesco said Ramon, who has been with the company since 2009, will step down to pursue another opportunity, but details were not provided.

The company said the departure is not the result of a disagreement with management. Before joining Invesco, Ramon held positions at HomeBanc, GE Capital and SunTrust Banks.

Invesco said it will announce his successor in the near future. Ramon will remain with the company until May 15.

Invesco acquires, finances and manages residential and commercial mortgage-backed securities and mortgage loans.
